Job Overview Cardiac Cath Lab Assistant Nurse ManagerLocation: Valley Park, MissouriSpecialty: Cardiac Cath LabDiscipline: Registered Nurse (RN)Employment Type: Staff (Ongoing)Shift: 10‑hour days, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (no nights, weekends, holidays or on‑call duties) Responsibilities Coordinate nursing personnel management, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating performance, and professional development. Prepare and manage department staffing and budget responsibilities to achieve operational goals. Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including administration of conscious sedation, airway management, and assessment of hemodynamic, neurologic, and respiratory status during procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate on individualized plans of care based on assessment, diagnosis, and medical treatment. Oversee equipment maintenance, procurement, and statistical analysis related to patient outcomes and procedural success rates. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) credential. RN licensure with at least 2–5 years of nursing experience; 5–10 years preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab preferred; if not, at least 2 years of procedural or critical‑care nursing experience.
