Assistant Project Manager

CCI Group, LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking an Assistant Project Manager. The role assists with budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, project documentation, submittals, and change orders while working closely with project managers and field staff. Location The position will report to Luke Airforce Base in Glendale, AZ. Responsibilities Assist with project budgets, change orders, scheduling, and submittal processing. Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project including meeting minutes, daily reports, and other general project documentation. Develop a thorough understanding of project drawings and specifications. Review owner contract and become familiar with terms and conditions. Provide support to field staff. Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule. Identify and assist in resolution of scope conflicts as necessary. Prepare materials for client, internal, and subcontractor meetings. Develop project plans and documentation including work plans, safety plans, quality control plans, construction submittals, schedules, base access, etc. Assist with subcontractor outreach and bid preparation. Minimum Qualifications 3–5 years’ experience preferred in the construction industry as a project engineer, assistant project manager, or equivalent. Must be a US Citizen. Must be familiar with industry standards and practices. Basic proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, Windows, and Microsoft Outlook. Experience with ProCore project management software. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work directly with clients and subcontractors and present oneself professionally. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in engineering, construction, or a related field. Experience with US Air Force, USACE, NAVFAC, or other federal construction. Experience with RMS and/or eCMS. Experience with Primavera P6. General knowledge of ICD‑705 Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities. Physical Requirements Ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co‑workers and clients is required. The role involves bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 35–50 pounds, and use of personal protective equipment as necessary. Exposure to extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, and other inclement weather, as well as potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise, may occur.
