About the role:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other material-handling equipment to move products throughout the warehouse. This role focuses on supporting equipment-centric warehouse operations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring materials are properly handled, stored, and transported to support workflow efficiency.

What you'll do:

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials.
• Transport products to designated storage areas, staging locations, or outbound shipping areas.
• Ensure proper placement and organization of goods to maximize accessibility and warehouse efficiency.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to management.
• Dress code: Casual apparel that is sensible and durable for warehouse work, including jeans, shorts of modest length, T-shirts, and sweatshirts.
• For safety reasons, only closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes must be worn and should be in good condition.
• Hooded sweatshirts are allowed, but hoods cannot be worn anywhere in the warehouse.

What we're looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers is required.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification through company training.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and equipment safety.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory tracking software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Shift:

• 2nd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM.
• Possible mandatory overtime on Friday and Saturday.
• Possible mandatory overtime of 2 hours added at the end of the shift.
