Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teaching License
• IVP card (Identity Verified Prints clearance)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to foster student growth
• Modify instructional methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles
• Maintain accurate student records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, promoting independence and success in academic and social settings
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Uphold district and state policies pertaining to special education

This position begins in August 2026 and continues through May 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule of 40 hours per week. You’ll engage with a dynamic K-12 caseload, with the opportunity to build positive relationships across grade levels and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.
