Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using recognized assessments and observational methods.
  • Formulate individualized treatment strategies tailored to address both immediate needs and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
  • Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions with a focus on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and family members to ensure integrated care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and families to reinforce progress beyond the clinical setting.
  • Support inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, maintaining a continuous care approach throughout the recovery journey.
  • Ensure all documentation is precise and compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Commit to ongoing professional growth through continued education and collaboration with peers.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those who are not yet ASHA certified.
Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA desired.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.

  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods across all age groups, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
