Sr. Accountant

As we continue expanding across the country, we're looking for a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, and wants to play a key role in supporting a rapidly growing multi‑location organization. What You'll Do As a Senior Accountant, you will help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP while supporting financial processes that drive scalability, efficiency, and growth across the organization. Key Responsibilities Maintain compliance with ASC 842 lease accounting standards, including evaluating new contracts, preparing right‑of‑use (ROU) asset and liability entries, and managing monthly lease schedules. Calculate and record monthly, quarterly, and annual performance bonuses in accordance with corporate incentive plans. Support acquisitions through purchase price allocations for greenfield projects and business combinations. Design and manage processes for tracking vendor credits, rebates, and allowances to ensure accurate financial reporting and contract compliance. Prepare and review complex journal entries. Partner with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and compliance reviews. Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation and supporting schedules. Analyze monthly financial results and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue improvement. Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting experience. CPA license or CPA eligible and actively pursuing certification. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including experience with ASC 842 lease accounting. Experience with accrual‑based accounting principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Experience working with ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience is a plus). Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting retail, hospitality, restaurant, or multi‑location organizations. Experience with acquisitions, lease accounting, and complex financial transactions. Public accounting experience is a plus. Skills for Success Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
