KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in the MetroWest area of Boston looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This position is on-site 5 days a week and is paying
$70K-80K
depending on experience. Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, vendor management, and billing issue resolution while supporting payroll processing and compliance. Contribute to monthly/year-end close by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledger accuracy. Support financial reporting, KPI tracking, and provide analysis and documentation to leadership, including direct support to the CFO. Maintain organized financial records, assist with audits and compliance, manage asset tracking, and identify process improvements across accounting operations. Experience Required Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Effective communicator with solid interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 1–3 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience. Experience with accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, financial reporting, and accounting software systems.
