About the Role:

End Overdose is seeking an Arkansas-based Training and outreach Coordinator to lead life-saving initiatives across the state. This individual will organize and facilitate on-the-ground overdose prevention and response training, distribute naloxone and overdose prevention supplies, and handle order fulfillment for Arkansas residents through Endoverdose.net.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who understands Arkansas’s communities and can build partnerships with schools, treatment and recovery facilities, first responders, and community organizations. They must also manage order fulfillment with precision and efficiency.

Travel throughout the state and in-person work at our warehouse facility in Central, AR, are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Training and Outreach:

• Set up, coordinate, and deliver in-person overdose prevention and response training statewide for schools, treatment/recovery centers, community organizations, and first responders.
• Represent End Overdose at local events, including music and community festivals, providing education and resources.
• Build relationships with key partners to expand access to harm reduction resources and training across Arkansas.

Order Fulfillment:

• Fulfill and ship orders of naloxone and prevention material placed through EndOverdose.net for Arkansas residents.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure efficient distribution of supplies.
• Collaborate with the broader End Overdose team to support ongoing statewide programs.

Travel and Logistics:

• Regularly travel throughout Arkansas to deliver training and represent End Overdose.
• On non-travel days, work from the warehouse facility in Fayetteville, AR to manage order fulfillment.
• Program Coordination:
• Independently plan, schedule, and lead initiatives while managing program timelines and goals.
• Track training outcomes and fulfillment metrics for internal reporting.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and businesses. 
• Work closely with the Arkansas Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (OSAMH), ensuring that data sources are accurately entered into the databases.
• Participate in evaluation activities, including mandatory trainings, reporting, and peer-sharing forums.
• Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of Arkansas’s communities and geography.
• Experience in on-the-ground outreach, training delivery, and community engagement.
• Previous experience in shipping/fulfillment, logistics, or inventory management.
• Ability to lead and execute independent initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Arkansas.
• Physical ability to lift boxes and manage warehouse tasks.
• Proficiency with basic technology (e.g., email, spreadsheets, inventory systems).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with the entertainment industry,  public health, or community organizations.
• Familiarity with naloxone, and overdose prevention strategies.
• Prior experience leading workshops, training, or educational events.
• Competent in google suite products, data analysis, social media 
• Outgoing and sociable 
• Well rooted in Central AR community art, music, etc scene 
• Self management skills

Work Environment:

• Must be present at the warehouse facility in Central, AR on non-travel days.
• Regular travel across the state for training and outreach events.
• Ability to work weekends or evenings, particularly for events or community festivals.
