This position supports the growth and viability of the the Office of the CMO by leading the coordination, management and alignment of multiple key projects and initiatives that will achieve performance to our strategic and regional goals. Collaborating with key stakeholders and leaders, the Senior Program Manager position provides expert consultation while providing structure and process to the work of multiple project teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, maximizing the team's overall efficiency, and sharing accountability for performance. In executing strategic initiatives, the Senior Program Manager acts as a change agent, leading through influence to ensure projects effectively move through phases of design, implementation and spread for realization of quantitative benefits.The position reports to the Executive Director of Operations for the Office of the CMO and must establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and leadership in Providence Strategic and Management Services (PSMS), as well as with other Providence Health and Services staff, vendors and agents, and others. As a key interface between leaders and departments, the Senior Program Manager creates cohesion among stakeholders and alignment toward to the vision set forth by the senior leadership and the strategic plan, working closely with leadership and staff, regional medical group leaders and physicians, and leaders in Informatics, Epic, and Healthcare Intelligence.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable.
