Requirements / Qualifications

2 Letters of Recommendation Documentation of passing the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Examination or 48 semester units or equivalent to an Associate of Arts degree or higher. Current CPR and First Aid certification EDUCATION: Required: Equivalent to graduation from high school. Desirable: Technical or college level course work or training dealing with Special Education students needs. EXPERIENCE: Required: Equivalent of one school year of experience working with Special Education Students in an academic, social, emotional or functional instructional environment.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES: Following the recruitment closing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Those who pass screening will be invited to participate in a written examination, tentatively scheduled for TBD. Those who pass the written examination will be invited to a panel interview with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for TBD. Based on the final scores, a ranked candidate list will be established. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a final interview with the hiring administrator. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.

The Fremont Unified School District is a Merit System District and fills all vacancies in the classified service through competitive examinations.
