Job Summary
P&B Truck Accessories is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities with commercial fleets, dealerships, construction companies, and retail partners. If you have a passion for the automotive or trucking industry and a proven track record of B2B sales success, we want you on our team.
Core Responsibilities
Business Development: Prospect, qualify, and generate new sales leads through cold calling, field visits, and networking events.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with truck dealerships, fleet managers, upfitters, and commercial clients.
Product Expertise: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value, durability, and utility of P&Bs truck accessories and upfitting solutions.
Consultative Selling: Assess customer needs and recommend tailored accessory packages (e.g., toolboxes, bed liners, racks, towing setups, and lighting) to meet their specific operational goals.
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and local market demands to identify new growth areas.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline data, and customer correspondence using our CRM system.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 25 years of proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management (experience in the automotive, truck accessory, heavy equipment, or industrial supply sectors is highly preferred).
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of light and medium sized trucks and standard commercial accessories.
Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-Motivated: Proven ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Travel: Ability to travel extensively within the designated local territory daily.
License: Must possess a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
