THE ROLE: We are looking for a dynamic, upbeat system test engineer to join our growing team within NTSG - Network Technology Solutions Group. As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology.  THE PERSON: The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for system testing, automation, and is diligent and passionate about DPU Technology. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMDKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Validate all components(Hardware, Software and Management) of end to end system including all components of rack solution.Active contribution to the day-to-day activities of the System Test in an Agile environment.Write Test plans and review it with all stakeholders to cover the scenarios comprehensively and execute efficiently.Build maintainable, high quality and effective automated test scripts.Review and triage test failures and verify fixes.Help customer reported issues by reproducing the issue locally, work with peer teams for faster resolution.Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to networking and accelerators.Debugging complex technical issues and collaborate with peer teams.Develop technical relationships with peers and partnersParticipating in new ASIC and hardware bring ups.Debugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same workDevelop technical relationships with peers and partners PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Extensive experience in end to end system/solution validation.Knowledge of various compute and networking components (SmartNIC, GPU and Switch), operating systems, device drivers, and related technologies/architecturesFamiliarity with Sonic Network Operating System is a plus.Proficiency in writing Automation Scripts using Python Experience in various test tools, performance testing tools such as Ixia, etc.,Solid understanding of automation framework and well verse with PythonAbility to write high quality automation code with a keen attention to detailExperience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plusEffective communication, problem-solving and strong troubleshooting skills.ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-RD1#LI-HYBRIDBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
