Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required with 6 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read telemetry strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Holiday time off must be approved by manager.

Unit Details: Float cluster includes Tower 2 (medical, surgical, and trauma patients), Tower 4 (cardiothoracic ICU with lung transplants and ECMO), and 4 Neuro (neuro ICU). Uses all types of respiratory support, telemetry monitors, GE equipment, and all critical drips.

Shift & Scheduling: Maximum 7 days of PTO. 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks; weekends are Saturday and Sunday. Holidays as required based on unit needs. No call. If placed on standby due to low census, response time is 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float among all ICU areas and MedSurg/Tele units, including sister campuses Westgate in Glendale and AZ General Laveen. Must be able to function independently when floated outside the primary area and cannot refuse floating assignments.
