Senior Production Support Engineer
Dynamic Work schedule - This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.
Location - MMK, NJ, NC and TX
Must Have:
- Cloud Technologies (AWS) - Production support - Linux - Must have exposure to 2 or 3 of the following: REST APIs, Java, Python, NodeJS, SQL, AWS, Linux, Angular Working in Tax, Corporate Actions and Security Master & Pricing product area in Core Brokerage.

The Purpose of This Role
We require a distributed resource for the R4-Responsive squad in the Tax, Corporate Actions and Security Master & Pricing product area in Core Brokerage. The squad member will work on Stability initiatives including scalability, capacity, performance of distributed applications. They will also perform incident response and be involved in tech life-cycle management initiatives and production cycle monitoring and support.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Strong fundamentals in Computer Science
- Financial services experience a plus
- Experience working in Agile lifecycle methodology
The Skills You Bring
Technical
- Experience in incident and problem management on a Level 1 Production Support team required
- Experience in supporting applications with 2 or 3 of the following technologies: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, PL/SQL, Linux, AWS, Python, NodeJS, and Angular.
- Familiarity with DevOps, monitoring and cloud computing skills
- Understanding of architectural patterns, micro-services, messaging/event driven frameworks and enterprise databases in an agile environment.
- Practical experience in CI/CD practices.
- Ability to tackle a range of issues including networking related ones. Familiarity with Splunk and Datadog tools.
- Understanding of server infrastructure and server certificates
- Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, cloud deployment tools a plus
- GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Concourse, uDeploy exposure a plus
Behavioral
- Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills and follow-through are essential for this role
- Experience leading the coordination of problem-solving efforts and crisis management
- Passion for technology and fixing sophisticated problems.
