This is an enterprise leadership role with broad influence and visibility, positioned to shape the future of payments strategy and execution across BOK Financial. As Director, Enterprise Payments & Strategy, you will define and drive the vision, roadmap, and execution of payments strategy across all lines of businessmodernizing capabilities and positioning the bank for long-term growth and innovation. Operating at the center of the organization, you will connect product, technology, operations, and risk to deliver scalable, client-centric solutions across ACH, wires, cards, and emerging payment rails. You will serve as a key strategic advisor and decision-maker, leading governance, influencing investment priorities, and partnering directly with senior and executive leadership to align enterprise direction. The Head of Enterprise Payments Strategy is responsible for defining and driving the enterprise-wide payments strategy and multi-year roadmap across all payment rails, ensuring alignment with Commercial Treasury and broader bank objectives. The position chairs payments governance forums, leads cross-LOB decisioning, and resolves strategic, funding, and prioritization conflicts to enable consistent, scalable payments capabilities. This role drives financial performance, client experience, and stakeholder alignment across the enterprise.

You will define and lead the enterprise payments vision, roadmap, and investment priorities across all payment rails. You will drive governance and guide critical decisions on prioritization, funding, sequencing, and trade-offs. You will accelerate transformation by advancing modernization and innovation across payments capabilities. You will partner across lines of business to align on and deliver integrated, scalable solutions. You will lead product strategy, pricing, and lifecycle execution across ACH, wires, cards, and emerging rails. You will collaborate with technology and operations to ensure seamless execution and performance. You will own payments risk and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations. You will influence and communicate strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior and executive leadership. You will drive portfolio performance, including growth, adoption, and operational efficiency.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field of study, and 12-15 or more years of directly related experience in payments, treasury, financial services, or transaction banking with a significant portion in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive expertise in the payments domain, with practical experience across multiple payment rails (ACH, Wires, Cards, RTP). Proven success in developing and executing enterprise-level product strategies and roadmaps in banking or payments environments. Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience collaborating across product, technology, operations, and risk teams. Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization, effectively influencing stakeholders at all levels without direct authority. Expertise in product governance and executive decision-making, including prioritization, trade-off analysis, and escalation of critical issues. Deep understanding of payments technology architecture and delivery constraints, with the ability to engage effectively with technology leadership. Experience integrating risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements into product design and strategic decision-making.
