Transactions Specialist II - Cash Services

You work with internal partners to investigate breaks, follow documented procedures, and help improve daily operational controls. You contribute to a culture of quality, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.Job responsibilitiesProcess daily cash service transactions accurately and within defined service level expectationsReconcile transaction activity and identify variances, breaks, or exceptionsInvestigate and resolve exceptions by researching records, tracking root causes, and documenting outcomesValidate data quality and complete required checks in accordance with procedures and controlsEscalate issues, aging items, and operational risks in a timely and well-documented mannerPartner with internal teams to coordinate resolution of transaction inquiries and operational requestsMaintain clear records, logs, and evidence to support audit, reporting, and control requirementsIdentify process improvement opportunities and support updates to procedures and job aidsSupport cross-training and knowledge sharing to maintain consistent team coverage and performanceRequired qualifications, capabilities and skillsTransaction processing experience in an operations environment (TBD minimum years)Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and complete work with strong attention to detailAbility to reconcile activity, identify exceptions, and complete basic root-cause analysisProficiency with standard productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, email, and document tools)Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and sustain accuracy in a high-volume workflowClear written and verbal communication skills for documenting outcomes and escalating issuesAbility to work effectively with internal partners in a process-driven environmentCommitment to a control-focused mindset, including accurate recordkeeping and timely escalationAvailability to work the required schedule for the role (TBD schedule/shift; TBD on-site/hybrid expectations)Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skillsExperience supporting reconciliations, exception management, or investigations in cash-related operationsExperience using workflow tools or case management systems to track and resolve itemsExperience supporting process improvement initiatives (e.g., updates to procedures, checklists, or job aids)Experience working in a role with defined service levels and quality metricsFamiliarity with operational risk concepts (e.g., controls, documentation, escalation)Experience supporting team coverage through cross-training or peer supportChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
