Job Description

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment to a mid shift schedule from 14:45 to 23:15. The role involves working 5 days a week with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform medication passes accurately and safely.
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies.
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on assigned units.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid New York State nursing license.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing required.
• Experience with Alzheimer's and Dementia patient populations is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Must pass a medication administration test and clinical observation.
• Strong attendance and punctuality required.

Additional Information

All travelers must complete mandatory modules upon acceptance of the offer. Modules should be started as soon as possible and completed no later than 3 days before the assignment start date. The training will be provided remotely.

Compliance and Requirements

• Candidate must have no prior licensing issues.
• Dependability and consistent attendance are critical.
• RTO (Request Time Off) is only approved at the time of submission and cannot be changed after the offer is made.
• Candidates may need to submit to a clinical review in case of issues during the assignment.

Shift Details

Shifts will begin 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time and conclude 15 minutes after. Attendance policies are strictly enforced regarding timing.

Orientation

Orientation is scheduled every 2 weeks, and attendance is mandatory.
