If you enjoy helping others, you will find this role to be both challenging and rewarding.A day in the life of a Customer Service Representative:Answering incoming phone calls on behalf of client; providing accurate and appropriate information to callersAssisting customers by researching issues, exploring answers, and providing information and alternative solutionsPlacing outbound customer service or customer satisfaction calls, as required by clientCompleting call guides; gather and verify required informationAttending telephone skills and program information training sessions; adhere to established levels of serviceAdhering to established customer service and documentation standards within required time framesAdhering to contact center scheduling, ensures telephone coverage during contact center hours of operationPerforming clerical or administrative duties as assignedAs a well-qualified candidate for this role, YOU MUST have:A high school diploma or G.E.D.1 or more years of customer service or other telephone experienceExperience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technologyAn ability and willingness to work and train onsite as requiredAccess to high speed wired internet connectionAccess to a quiet work environment free from distractionsAn ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and credit checkAn ability and willingness to working first 90 days without absencesLouisiana/Texas residency is required living within a reasonable driving distance (approximately 60 miles) of the facility that you appliedEven BETTER if YOU have:1 or more years of call center experience (HIGHLY preferred)Demonstrated experience working with desktop/laptop setup and basic software installationIntermediate proficiency with web-based browsers such as Google Chrome or MS EdgeDemonstrated ability utilizing multiple monitors with an ability to multitask and talk while typingAn ability to work independently with limited supervisionWork Environment:HybridHours of operation are: 6:00 am - 8:00 pm CST, M-F (Schedule subject to change at any time)WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:Competitive pay plus benefitsA hybrid work environment with opportunities to work from the comfort of your own homeAn opportunity to support a large government contract that aids citizens and businesses alikeThe likely hourly rate for this position is between $15.06 - $20.38.
