Endurance Solutions Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

Our clinic is a welcoming and well-organized outpatient office situated in Schenectady, New York, in a community that values health and wellness. You will have the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while serving our patient community. The patient interaction is lively, with an average patient volume of two patients per hour, allowing for personalized attention and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical capabilities and limitations to create customized treatment plans that meet their specific needs and conditions.
• Administer a variety of therapies including therapeutic exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Guide patients in the safe and effective practice of movement to aid in relearning how to walk post-injury or prolonged immobility.
• Develop and implement fall prevention strategies, educating patients and caregivers about safety practices to minimize risk.
• Lead pulmonary rehabilitation efforts for patients with respiratory conditions, aiming to improve respiratory function and overall physical capacity.
• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and speech therapists, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), enhancing their independence in daily life.
• Incorporate cognitive rehabilitation techniques into treatment plans to address any cognitive impairments, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.

As a Physical Therapist at our outpatient facility, you will work with a diverse clientele, including patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits
