Work Environment

The rehabilitation center is designed to facilitate hands-on therapy in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies, including state-of-the-art exercise equipment, manual therapy tools, and treatment modalities that enhance recovery. The work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, providing a regular 40-hour workweek, with options for a 9 am to 5 pm or an 8 am to 4 pm shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, assessing strength, range of motion, and functional abilities to create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, self-care strategies, and exercises to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Participate in clinical teaching by mentoring physical therapy students and interns, fostering an environment of learning and development.
• Contribute to ongoing clinical research initiatives and stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries (such as joint replacements), sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your insights and rehabilitative expertise will directly impact patients' functional recovery, enabling them to reclaim their active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active New York State Physical Therapy license is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities, with a focus on personalized patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Preference will be given to candidates with board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, coupled with an attractive benefits package.
