Title: Clinical Pharmacist – Emergency Department
Location: Salina, KS
Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Rotating Afternoon/Evening Shifts (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
- Every Other Weekend
Salary: $112,500 – $153,000 Annually (Based on experience) + Benefits
Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct pharmaceutical care including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and patient education.
- Participate in emergency responses including trauma activations, stroke alerts, and code blue events.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement emergency department medication protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
- Participate in hospital committees focused on patient safety and clinical excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program.
- Eligible for or currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Kansas.
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience.
- Emergency Department pharmacy experience.
- PGY1/PGY2 Residency training.
