The Intake Coordinator is responsible for answering incoming calls and assisting with issues related to eligibility, referrals and authorizations for cancer screening. Foster a supportive team environment. Responsible for scheduling intake visit, and maintain future appointment respectful to program goals, file maintenance, and assist care managers with client caseload. The Intake Coordinator will screen and orient potential members; conduct cancer screening and other service needs and assessments. Able to direct patients to other services of Saint Michael's Medical Center. Providing assistance in tracking program enrollment and performs liaison services as needed. Maintaining the screening program clinic scheduling, and appointment systems. Coordinating timely intake process on referrals to primary and sub-specialty clinics.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High School Diploma or equivalency (GED) required. Individual must have some college. 2. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Portuguese) 3. Experience with Health IT system (organization Tools/training) 4. On-the-job training completeness/ongoing as per changes to program mandates and regulatory guidelines (CDC/ACS/NJCEED/USPTF). A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $22.28 to $30.08.
