Float RN Supervisor (Night) - Join Our Team!

At Fayette Nursing and Rehab Center , we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. We are seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Float RN Supervisor on the night shift. As a Float RN Supervisor, you will provide nursing leadership and clinical support throughout the facility, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care and nursing staff have the support they need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision and leadership throughout the facility during the night shift

• Serve as a resource and support for nursing staff across assigned units

• Monitor resident care and respond to changes in residents' conditions

• Assist nurses with clinical concerns, assessments, and appropriate interventions

• Ensure physician orders, care plans, and facility policies are followed

• Respond to emergencies and significant changes in resident condition

• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Monitor medication administration and treatment practices as appropriate

• Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Address staffing and operational concerns during the shift

• Assist with managing call-outs and maintaining appropriate staffing coverage

• Promote compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Complete required reports and follow up on incidents or concerns

• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to nursing staff

• Promote a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment

• Perform other supervisory and nursing duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current, active Maryland RN license

• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred

• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions

• Knowledge of nursing standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support multiple nursing units
