Key Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teacher license required
• Experience working in self-contained special education or life skills settings preferred
• Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and adaptive curriculum
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to create inclusive, nurturing environments
• Collaborative approach to teaming with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement instructional activities tailored to students’ IEP goals
• Teach practical academic, social, daily living, and functional communication skills
