Explore opportunities at dnb.com/careers.The Senior Director, People Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to the Global Chief Revenue officer and Sales Leadership team and helps align business objectives with people strategies, including a focus on developing leaders and teams, driving organizational effectiveness, engaging our employees, and prioritizing the highest impact solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides strategic leadership and expert guidance to assigned commercial client groups, along with consultation and delivery of People programs to achieve key commercial objectivesManage a team of People Business Partners to provide effective and timely People support and consultation to assigned client groupsLeads organization design activities and talent management strategies to implement new structures, roles and/or processes that create more effective and efficient organizations that are aligned to shifting business demandsLeverages complex data and people analytics to provide critical insights into business and talent trends that inform the overall commercial and People prioritiesUtilize Microsoft 365 Copilot and other approved AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize information, prepare leadership communications, and generate actionable insights. Champion the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working across client groups, helping leaders improve productivity, decision quality, and organizational effectiveness.Provides insights in a simple, creative, and relevant way that challenges current thinking, informs business decisions, and shows how decisions impact business outcomesStrategically advises Leaders in solving complex issues related to organization design, development, and change leadershipServes as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders at all levels of the organization, offering support and guidance on People related mattersCoaches Leaders to build leadership capabilities and create a culture of followership within their teams and with key internal stakeholdersWorks with Senior Leaders to implement and manage key People processes, such as the year-end performance management process (performance assessment, calibration, succession planning and compensation planning)Initiates and leads cross-functional People team projectsAdditional duties as assignedRequired Experience & EducationAt least 12 years of experience working in Senior Business Partner role with at least 10 years in a Leadership role.Experience working in a global matrix led organizationHuman Resource related certifications expected (such as CIPD, SHRM, HRCI)Knowledge and experience using the HRIS system Workday preferredHigh ability for business judgement and understands business strategy, the needs of customers and the broader marketplaceDemonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled technologies, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, to enhance business performance, drive organizational effectiveness, improve workforce decision-making, and lead adoption of innovative ways of working while ensuring responsible and ethical use of AI.Must be data inspired with the ability to analyze and derive insights from large data sets, identify key issues and prepare cogent recommendationsPossesses an innovative, insightful mentality with a willingness to challenge the status quoRelevant experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness/design, change management and coaching; proven ability to expand and execute on talent strategySuccessful in influencing leaders and employees in making the right talent and business decisions to drive business outcomes; demonstrates a combination of impeccable verbal and written communication skills, advanced emotional intelligence, and savvy navigation of complex business structuresCreativity and grit to skillfully problem solve and navigate dynamic, ambiguous situationsExtensive experience in managing complex employee relations casesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills with strong excel skillsShow an ownership mindset in everything you do.
