Interruptions happen. Families call. Providers arrive. A resident needs immediate attention. You handle distractions with urgency and composure — and then return to the details to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You follow established processes — and when improvement is needed, you elevate it thoughtfully and within regulatory guidelines. What You’ll Be Responsible For Ensuring exceptional quality of resident care through clear standards, monitoring, and accountability Overseeing the entire medication delivery system with precision and consistency Conducting initial and ongoing resident assessments with accuracy and clinical insight Evaluating medical concerns and coordinating care with providers and ancillary services Interpreting policies and regulations for nursing staff — ensuring full compliance Supervising Resident Care Aides (RCAs) with clear expectations and consistent follow-up Providing hands-on competency training with return demonstrations Leading recruitment, onboarding, and in-service education for the nursing team Serving as a trusted liaison to families, healthcare agencies, hospitals, and emergency teams Handling emergency situations calmly and efficiently Participating in on-call rotation You create a department where: Documentation is accurate.
