Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a comparable technical field plus 10+ years of technical experience, or a high school diploma plus 14+ years of technical experience
• 11+ years of experience in DevOps, front-end development, or full-stack development
• Experience with Bash scripting, AWS or a comparable cloud environment, Linux administration, and systems design
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Experience documenting networks, including security compliance, configuration management, and patching
• Current, active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time
• Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and infrastructure orchestration using Terraform
• Preferred: Expertise in JavaScript/ECMAScript, including code stitching, minimization, and RESTful API development
• Preferred: Knowledge of automated hardware appliance deployment, PKI infrastructure, and encryption-at-rest services
• Preferred: Experience advancing technical agendas across large teams and working with complex, interconnected systems

• Deploy and provision AWS resources, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and VPC configurations, to support scalable architecture
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD processes using GitLab and GitHub
• Perform routine vulnerability scans, apply patches, and update cloud and physical infrastructure to maintain security compliance
• Design and maintain Kubernetes and EKS clusters to support high availability and developer productivity
• Work with stakeholders to deliver complete, functional systems that meet requirements
• Recommend process and policy improvements and implement them when approved
