Assistant Hourly Trainer Opr - Harvest

Management Level: Class 11 Work Shift: A Shift (United States of America) Train and assist team members on proper knife steeling techniques. Assist team members in learning job techniques. Team members must report to the Training Manager/Supervisor and help accomplish the goals of the production line. Maintain the line standards set by upper management. Audit and track training progress for team members; hours vary. All team members are responsible for safety, including but not limited to personal safety and food safety.Medium to heavy skills preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must desire to make others successful in the performance of their duties and must be a positive motivator.Must exhibit good attendance practices, work performance, people skills, and safety practices.

Candidates must be able to work in extreme cold or hot, wet, humid environments (ranging from 35 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 65 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit), use their hands and arms above shoulder level, and stand for 8-10 hours per day.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements: Candidates with 4 or more attendance points and/or any suspension in the past 12 months will not be considered. Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Must be able to read, write, and interpret general equipment safety procedures to ensure safety.
