Assistant Professor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions in quantum science, broadly defined.

• For the experimental chemistry position , areas of interest include, but are not limited to the preparation, control, and measurement of quantum states in molecular and materials systems; the synthesis and chemistry of molecules and materials for quantum science; quantum sensing and quantum-enhanced spectroscopy and coherent dynamics; and interfaces between quantum science and other areas of experimental chemistry.
• For the theoretical and computational chemistry position , areas of particular interest include quantum molecular science (electronic structure theory, molecular modeling, and quantum dynamics) and the application of machine learning to theoretical chemistry.
