Why Join This Opportunity?Hybrid work scheduleExecutive-level visibility and influenceOpportunity to shape and enhance risk management and governance practices across a growing restaurant organizationCollaborative, innovation-driven culture with strong leadership supportAs a Director of Internal Audit you will: Direct and oversee the Internal Audit function for the U.S. organization.Design and implement a comprehensive annual audit program based on business risks and strategic priorities.Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks.Identify and evaluate operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risks across the organization.Lead audits from planning through execution, reporting, and follow-up activities.Communicate audit results, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations to senior executives and key stakeholders.Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Information Technology, and other business units to strengthen processes and controls.Monitor adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Manage, mentor, and develop Internal Audit team members while optimizing resource allocation.Support executive committees and strategic business transformation initiatives.Champion audit best practices and incorporate emerging industry trends into audit methodologies.Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Process Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Proven experience leading Internal Audit programs and managing audit teams.Strong background in risk assessment, internal controls, and enterprise risk management.Experience developing and executing risk-based audit plans.Knowledge of corporate governance principles and compliance frameworks.Ability to present complex audit findings and recommendations to executive leadership.Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Professional-level English language proficiency.Preferred Skills & QualificationsMBA or other advanced business degree.Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.Experience within the restaurant, food service, hospitality, or QSR industry mandatorySpanish language proficiency preferred but not required.Experience supporting large-scale organizational change, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.Salary: $158,000 - $200,000 per year. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Since this is a Direct Hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
