Press Brake Operator

Food manufacturing company in Newburyport, MA is looking to hire a Press Brake Operator to join thier team! Set up and operate press brake machines and rolls to form metal parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to understand technical requirements and project specifications. Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job. Measure and inspect finished products using standard measuring instruments like calipers and tape measures to ensure they meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards. Adhere to all safety regulations, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Foresight to anticipate project requirements and organize tasks accordingly Adaptable to fast paced environment Ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently and as a team Capable of using hand and power tools Able to be on your feet, bend, or occasionally climb short ladder for a minimum of 8 hours a day Able to lift / move 50 lbs. Willing to work minimum of 40 hours Requirement Skills: 2+ years' experience as a press brake operator Mechanical aptitude Previous experience working with large parts and stainless steel preferred Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email) High School degree or equivalent Driven self-starter with a positive attitude Good interpersonal skills Regular attendance and daily punctuality are necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr
