Production Operator

This schedule is designed to give you predictable routines and extended 4-day blocks of time off! The Hours Day Shift: 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM Grave Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM Rotation Pattern Your schedule will follow a repeating 4-days-on, 4-days-off pattern, swapping between days and nights every 3 weeks: Weeks 1 to 3 (Grave Shift): Work 4 nights | 4 days off Weeks 4 to 6 (Day Shift): Work 4 days | 4 days off Perk The 4-on/4-off cycle built into this schedule ensures you get 4 consecutive days off after every single work stretch to rest and recharge! Essential Duties Responsible for safe operation of equipment; preventing damage to equipment and preventing injuries Participates fully as a member of the crew during downtime and start-up, product changes, operational problems, and clean up. Assists in sheet breaks, threading machine and product changes. Will assist in clearing machine jams to keep product moving. Responsible for basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of assigned equipment Completes product testing in accordance with product specification and records data on applicable sheets or computer systems. Keeps the supervisor informed of variations in the production process at all times. Maintains work area in neat and orderly condition per housekeeping procedures for the department Operates forklift in a safe and efficient manner Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Experience working in a manufacturing environment To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have ability to work in the U.S. without current/future need for GAF visa sponsorship. Preferred Basic PC skills and ability to navigate programs used by the Company for training and/or communication purposes Follow both verbal instructions and written procedures Language Skills: Able to read, write, and communicate in English Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment High level of accuracy. Attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively Willingness to work overtime and weekends. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.
