WORK LOCATION : Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK HOURS :  PRN (as needed) Rotating Shifts

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

•    H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
\n •    Graduate of an AMA approved / accredited Ultrasound Program preferred
\n •    Associate degree preferred 
\n •    2 Year experience in a hospital setting preferred
\n •    BCLS—Basic Cardiac Life Support—prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
\n •    ARRT—American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Sonography—with one additional modality required upon hire OR
\n •    ARDMS—American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers—with 2 additional modality certifications Upon Hire Required AND
\n •    Other RVT or VT(RVS) as one modality if performing vascular sonography Upon Hire Req

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

•    Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing:
\n •    Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to and during exam.
\n •    Images correct anatomical area of interest and pathology according to department protocols.
\n •    Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
\n •    Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, suggest Differential diagnosis.
\n •    Utilizes proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS.
\n •    Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
