Assistant Principal

Role Description The Assistant Principal is a full-time, on-site position located in Cutler Bay, FL. The Assistant Principal will support the management of daily school operations, promote a positive learning environment, and assist in the implementation of school policies and academic initiatives. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating curriculum development, implementing student discipline policies, and building relationships with students, families, and community stakeholders to ensure academic success and well-being. The role also involves collaborating with the Principal to execute the school’s mission and vision effectively. Qualifications Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to manage staff, operations, and student-related matters. Experience in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and educational program development. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills to engage effectively with students, parents, staff, and community members. Knowledge of student counseling, behavior management strategies, and techniques to maintain a positive school environment. Familiarity with educational regulations and best practices for middle and high school levels. Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field. State-issued school administrator certification is preferred. Three or more years of teaching or administrative experience, preferably in middle or high school settings.
