We are currently looking for a driven and organized Project Engineer to assist in delivering large-scale HVAC and Plumbing construction projects from planning through completion. This opportunity is ideal for professionals early in their construction career who want to expand their technical knowledge while working closely with project management and field operations teams.

In this role, you will help ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations while gaining valuable hands-on industry experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Support & Coordination

• Partner with Project Managers and leadership teams to support day-to-day project activities.

• Assist with coordinating mechanical construction projects throughout all phases of construction.

• Help develop and update project schedules alongside Superintendents and field personnel.

• Monitor project performance, evaluating schedule progress and cost alignment.

• Recognize potential project challenges and contribute to timely resolution strategies.

Project Documentation & Controls

• Prepare and manage submittals while tracking approvals and project documentation.

• Support budget tracking and schedule adherence across assigned projects.

• Coordinate communication between engineering, estimating, and construction teams before project startup.

• Maintain organized project files, reports, and administrative documentation.

Client Interaction & Operational Support

• Provide assistance with estimating efforts, bid preparation, pricing reviews, and negotiations.

• Help maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and support.

• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive project efficiency and successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture , or a related discipline.

• Up to 3 years of experience within construction, mechanical contracting, or a related field.

• Understanding of HVAC and Plumbing systems , construction practices, and industry regulations.

• Experience using construction/project management software is a plus.

• Strong computer, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-starter with strong time management and accountability.

• Capable of balancing detailed execution with overall project objectives.
