Requirements Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Previous experience in payroll support, billing, accounts receivable, invoicing, or administrative finance functions. Experience reviewing timesheets and validating employee pay records preferred. Experience with EDI billing, electronic invoicing platforms, SAP Ariba, COUPA, EPICOR Kinetic, or similar ERP/accounting systems strongly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation. Grow your skills in clerical and accounting work as a Payroll and Billing Specialist Job Duties Review and verify employee timesheets for accuracy within the payroll system. Audit payroll records to ensure Per Diem, mileage reimbursements, and pay calculations comply with customer contracts and applicable state regulations. Identify and resolve discrepancies before payroll processing. Generate customer invoices from validated payroll records using EPICOR Kinetic. Submit and manage invoices through SAP Ariba, COUPA, EDI platforms, and other customer‑required electronic billing systems. Maintain accurate records and documentation supporting payroll and billing transactions. Reconcile payroll and invoicing data to ensure accuracy and timely customer billing. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve invoicing or payment issues. Assist with reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
