Details Work in the Surgery Recovery Room (PACU) of a hospital setting Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical and diagnostic procedures Day shift schedule from 08:00-17:00 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license (OK or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Graduation from an accredited nursing program Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and emergency-response skills Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Closely monitor patients during the immediate post-anesthesia period, managing pain and nausea and identifying complications Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule First-time travelers may be considered American Traveler Job ID P-749330.
