Swedish is seeking an experienced OR Manager to lead daily operations in our South Tower Surgery suite, a 10-operating-room surgical suite located on our flagship First Hill campus in downtown Seattle. Reporting within an established, high-caliber perioperative leadership team, this role oversees clinical operations in one of four major operating room suites serving the campus. The suite provides care for a diverse range of specialties, including General Surgery, ENT, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Pain Management, Lithotripsy, and both same-day and inpatient procedures. The successful candidate will play a major role in supporting Swedish's continued growth into what is expected to become the largest hospital complex in Washington State. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven perioperative leader seeking meaningful influence within one of the Pacific Northwest's premier surgical programs.

Responsible for the daily operations of South Tower Surgery department ensuring adherence to practice standards, regulatory requirements, budgeting and assuring adequate department coverage. The South Tower Surgery department provides Intra-operative care for patients needing care for the following surgical procedures: Same Day and In-patient surgeries, ENT, GYN, General, Eye, Plastics, Lithotripsy, Urology, Pain, in additions to other service lines based on business needs. They are responsible for assessment, problem-solving for specific care problems, and providing care for patient throughout their surgical experience from handoff in Pre-op until the patient is handed off to the next phsse of care (Phase I or Phase II). Because of the vast scope of service of these departments, the manager is required to have knowledge of AORN standards to supervise care of patients through the inpatient, outpatient, medical and surgical areas process.

Required Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree in Nursing. Applicants who only have an ADN must complete a BSN within 5 years of hire.
* Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
* Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
* 3 years of recent management experience in a perioperative setting or extensive perioperative experience in positions of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree of Nursing
* Master's degree in Nursing or related field
