Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading employees through onboarding, upskilling and core programs. Key responsibilities include developing Academy participants' proficiency, building skill development through various learning modalities, and demonstrating the principles of the bank's client-centric strategy to drive appropriate behaviors. Job expectations include partnering with leadership to drive employee development and managing various levels of Academy activities.

This role will support the execution of Academy programs for the West and Central Financial Center divisions.

Responsibilities:

• Leads onboarding, core and/or upskill Academy programs (virtually and/or in the classroom), inclusive of delivering assessments, managing practice pods, call calibration sessions, practice sessions, and simulator workshops
• Identifies behavior and proficiency gaps, develops action plans, and coaches participants to ensure successful completion of training programs and achievement of milestones
• Manages program outreach, coordination, logistics, communications, calendar planning, escalations, and ensures teammates have access to technology
• Partners with Academy content design teammates to provide feedback and insight on content, curriculum, and programs in partnership with Academy content design teammates
• Drives adherence to risk culture by enforcing internal and regulatory policies, procedures, and processes throughout New to Role programs
• Oversees the periodic post-program completion checkpoints to gauge the participants understanding and help accelerate speed to desired proficiency and/or reduce the learning curve for associates
• Facilitates Line of Business leadership routines and initiatives, providing stakeholders with development and program updates
• Leads and manages key Academy initiatives and projects, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, milestone tracking, and delivery of business outcomes
• Serves as a senior resource within the Academy organization by leading through influence, coordinating cross-functional teams and peer workgroups, and driving the execution of strategic initiatives, organizational priorities, and business outcomes
• Partners with Academy leadership to support strategic planning activities, organizational priorities, and the execution of team initiatives that drive Academy effectiveness and business impact
• Assists Academy leadership with the development, coordination, and delivery of communications that promote awareness, engagement, alignment, and execution of Academy priorities and initiatives
• Serves as a strategic partner across the Academy organization by identifying opportunities for operational improvement, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and supporting the successful implementation of change initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
• Proven ability to lead through influence without direct authority
• Previous involvement in programs, projects, or process initiatives with responsibility for planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, milestone management, and delivery of business outcomes
• Proven ability to coach, manage, and develop by driving proficiency and performance in a customer centric environment
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose root causes, assess skill gaps, and implement effective solutions that improve learner performance and business results
• Experience designing and executing strategic and operational initiatives with minimal oversight while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to translate expertise into effective learning experiences
• Ability to facilitate learning and translate complex topics into practical application
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, collaborate across functions, and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Effective communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills, including the ability to influence virtually across all levels (direct team and senior leadership)
• Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with the ability to proactively identify issues, escalate risks when appropriate, and drive resolution
• Proficiency in day-to-day risk identification and mitigation, and ability to communicate and reinforce the enterprise risk culture
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize
• Proficiency in computer skills and professional programs (for example, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, etc.)

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
