Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments, ensuring a patient-focused approach during these initial interactions.
• Implement and modify individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist, prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Instruct patients on performing therapeutic exercises, offering motivational support and guidance to ensure correct form and execution.
• Utilize advanced modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and hydrotherapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist to enhance healing and functional recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies for maintaining active lifestyles, using relatable examples to increase understanding.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to track effectiveness and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
• Maintain organized and detailed records, adhering to all regulatory compliance standards, and uphold the highest level of patient confidentiality and respect.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Our population includes adults and seniors who are highly motivated to regain their independence and improve their quality of life. As a PTA, your role will be critical in providing personalized attention to each patient, ensuring they feel supported and understood throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from a recognized institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience in a rehabilitation or related healthcare setting.
• A strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, with a demonstrated commitment to patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a relationship of trust and empathy with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually , commensurate with experience and educational background.
