Your sense of urgency and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment will not only support patient recovery but also fuel your own career advancement within a faith-based healthcare system. **Responsibilities:** + Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative assessment, planning, and evaluation of surgical patients. + Prepare the operating room, ensuring equipment, instruments, and sterile field meet AORN standards and patient-specific needs. + Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical procedures, actively anticipating surgeon's needs and maintaining patient safety. + Accurately document all aspects of patient care, surgical events, and interventions in the electronic health record. + Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes. + Implement nursing interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider within the perioperative setting. + Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique, infection control protocols, and patient safety initiatives (e.g., time-out). **Job Requirements** **Required** + Graduate of accredited professional nursing education program + Registered Nurse Licensed by the state of Minnesota + Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) + Obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one (1) year of start date **Preferred** + OR/PACU experience Where You'll Work CHI St. Joseph's Health of Park Rapids, part of CommonSpirit Health, is an award-winning, 25-bed critical access hospital located in the heart of lake country.
