Travel ER RN | New Hartford, New York

Schedule/Hours:

• 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM shifts
• Block scheduling not guaranteed

Role Overview:
You'll provide expert care to a diverse patient base, managing everything from trauma and sepsis to cardiac emergencies. The role includes working with pediatric and adult populations, utilizing advanced specialty equipment, and collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment. Floating within the department is required, and charge nurse experience is highly preferred.


Qualifications:

• Active NY RN license (verification via NURSYS)
• At least 2 years' recent experience in Emergency Department nursing, including some pediatrics
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Certification in AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC required
• EPIC EMR experience
• Current driver's license with address matching demographics
• Updated resume reflecting required experience
• Skills checklist matching your specialty
• Charge RN capability highly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of specialty drips and emergency medications

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency care across all age groups
• Respond to acute conditions including stroke, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Float to different areas of the unit as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within EPIC
