Executive Assistant to the President (Mostly Remote)
Location: Greater Houston Area (Remote with Occasional In-Person Meetings)
Compensation: Up to $114,000 Base Salary + Bonus
A growing and highly successful organization is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide direct support to its President. This is a newly created position designed to enhance executive effectiveness and support continued organizational growth.
While this role is primarily remote, candidates must reside in the Greater Houston area and be available for periodic in-person meetings, planning sessions, and executive support activities as needed.
This opportunity is ideal for a polished, highly professional Executive Assistant who has supported C-suite executives and thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, technologically savvy, and capable of anticipating executive needs before they arise.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Provide high-level administrative support directly to the President and COO.
- Manage a complex executive calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and strategic planning sessions.
- Coordinate domestic travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and related logistics.
- Prepare presentations, reports, meeting materials, agendas, and follow-up action items.
- Manage executive communications and assist with correspondence and information flow.
- Track key initiatives, deadlines, and priorities to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Project & Operational Coordination
- Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate communication across departments and stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain confidential records, documents, and executive files.
- Support meeting preparation, board presentations, leadership meetings, and executive reporting requirements.
- Serve as a trusted partner to the President and help drive organizational efficiency.
Technology & Reporting
- Create professional executive-level presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Develop reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and analyses using Microsoft Excel.
- Leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, organization, reporting, and productivity.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives, with significant experience supporting C-suite leadership.
- Demonstrated success supporting a President, CEO, COO, Founder, or other executive-level leader.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive and board-level presentations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis, and spreadsheet management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and experience handling confidential information.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Experience utilizing AI tools to improve productivity, workflow efficiency, research, reporting, or executive support functions is highly preferred.
