Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Acute Psychiatric UnitThis position offers a night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM.The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care and family support, executing the nursing process to ensure effective, evidence-based care for patients, families, and the community. This role involves assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of care programs and services, focusing on the physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of patients.Responsibilities:Demonstrate integrity, reliability, emotional maturity, compassion, and caring for patients, families, and coworkers.Involve patients and families in establishing care goals and implement interventions to achieve these goals.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to link patients and families with necessary services.Exhibit competence in technical nursing skills and remain current with policies, procedures, and standards.Demonstrate critical thinking by making clinical decisions and proactively addressing issues.Act as a resource for peers and assist in their professional development.Lead at the point of care through effective clinical decision-making and advocacy for patient outcomes.Adapt flexibly to meet the needs of patients, families, and the healthcare team.Qualifications:Current RN license in the applicable state.Demonstrated ability to follow and implement individualized patient care plans.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Experience in acute psychiatric care preferred.This is a 13-week contract position.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
