Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neurology patients on a 12-hour rotating schedule, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and Guillain-Barré syndrome populations
- Monitor telemetry and participate in evaluation and care within a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit utilizing continuous video EEG technology
- Perform focused neuro assessments, administer medications per orders, and respond to neurological changes promptly
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family education
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and uphold patient safety during shifts
- Participate in on-call, charge, and unit needs as required, including weekends and holidays

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS certification
- Telemetry experience required
- Two years of RN experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced neuro-hospital setting and on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
