Registered Nurse - Neurosurgery

3x12.0 Rotating Shift Schedule - Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
36 or 48 hours per week

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 17 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements
- RN License (New York only)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- ACLS Certification (High priority)
- NIHSS Certification required
- Two (2) years of experience in a high acuity stroke and neurosurgery setting
- Stepdown/PCU Experience required
- Telemetry experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological disorders.
- Monitor patient status and implement appropriate interventions based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Manage complex medical devices and treatments specific to neurosurgical patients.
- Educate patients and families on care protocols and health management strategies.
- Conduct regular neuro checks and report critical findings to the healthcare team.

Compliance / Notes
- Must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate rotating shifts.
- Participation in on-call or callback duty may be required.
