Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to adult med-surg patients, including assessments, planning, and evaluation of care
- Monitor telemetry as indicated; manage IV therapy, medications, and wound care per physician orders
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, update care plans, and participate in care coordination with the multidisciplinary team
- Document all patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record; ensure accurate handoffs during shift change
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff; participate in rounds and care planning; respond to unit needs
- May assume expanded roles as assigned, including charge nurse, preceptor, or committee participation

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York (NY RN)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work in an inpatient med-surg/acute care setting
