Job Description
MEDSURG/TELE RN - MEDSURG/TELEMETRY

Schedule
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 (1900-0700)
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- NY license in hand required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification (valid credential must be included with submittal)
- Experience with MedSurg/Telemetry care
- Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Ability to participate in rapid response/code teams
- Skills in peripheral line care, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive airway management
- Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE
- Experience with EPIC charting required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to emergent situations.
- Administer medications and therapies as per protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding health management and care plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Candidates local to the facility must reside within a 75-mile radius, although local candidates may be subject to restriction confirmation.
- Submission requirements include a valid NIHSS credential with the candidate packet.
