Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job

Overview Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (Cardiac) position in Rochester, NY. Start date 08/17/2026 for several weeks on a 4x12 Night shift. Weekly pay range of $1,871 to $2,007 per week. This travel - temporary assignment covers a 19-bed MS/Telemetry unit with a Cardiac clinical track. Orientation is 16 hours and charting is in EPIC (required). Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,871-$2,007 per week Contract duration: Several weeks Shift: 4x12 Nights Start date: 08/17/2026 Unit: 19-bed MS/Telemetry (Cardiac track) Orientation and charting: 16 hours; EPIC charting required Responsibilities Monitor and interpret telemetry, identify and manage dysrhythmias, and respond to changes per protocol; elevate to rapid response as needed Administer medications and manage IV lines; collaborate with IV team, pharmacy, and other disciplines as indicated Deliver oxygen therapy and assist with non-invasive airway management; support patient respiration as ordered Conduct focused nursing assessments, document in EPIC, and contribute to care plans with the interdisciplinary team Implement isolation precautions and maintain infection control with proper PPE Coordinate with unit-based personnel (PCTs, unit secretary, transport) to support timely vitals, glucose checks, EKGs, and ADLs Requirements NY RN license in hand to submit; active licensure required BLS certification required NIHSS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience; adults/geriatrics; Med-Surgical and/or Telemetry/Cardiac experience preferred EPIC charting experience or demonstrated proficiency required Ability to work in a MS/Telemetry unit and float within scope to similar units as needed Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing Nationwide assignments Extension opportunities Referral bonus up to $1,000 Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
