Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

SCHEDULE
Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A.
36 and 48 hours per week available.
1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Duration: 16 weeks.
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified.

REQUIREMENTS
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 1 year recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
- Preferred: 2 years recent experience in acute med/surg/tele
- Experience with EPIC charting

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiac med/tele unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.
- Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
- Required to float to other units if needed.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Willingness to work in a charge role, with training provided.
